BUTTE -- Billings Central put together a big second half Friday to defeat Browning 50-36 and advance to the championship game of the Class A girls state basketball tournament.

Allie Lucas scored 20 of her 22 points in the second half to lead a Central team that shot 44 percent from the floor and scored 29 points in the final 16 minutes. Lucas hit three second-half 3-pointers.

Justyn Juhl started hot, scoring 11 of her 17 points in the first quarter. But Central (16-7) led by just three points at halftime.

Marti Eagle Feathers led Browning (12-11) with 15 points, but the Indians shot just 26 percent from the floor and were 0 for 11 from 3-point range.

Sammy Elliott had a game-high 14 rebounds for the Rams, who will play in the championship game for the third time in the past four seasons.
