The Choteau Classic Wrestling Tournament is Friday and Saturday.

Tournament organizers were pretty well prepared and faxed down to The Gazette a list of the returning state placers who will be competing at the tourney and a list of the Top 10 teams from last year’s event.

Here are last year’s top 10 teams (Colstrip and Glasgow will not be at this event this season as they are at the Cowboy in Miles City): Glasgow, Conrad, Colstrip, Cascade-Simms, Arlee, Chinook, Huntley Project, Townsend, Choteau and Jefferson.

Overall, there will be eight returning state champions at the meet.

Here are the returning 2008 state placers entered at Choteau, by school with their weight this year:
