JACKSON, Wyo. — Jackson Hole High School has promoted an assistant football coach to take over the head coaching job.

James Howell has accepted the head coaching position, activities director Sean Shockley said.

Howell has worked as assistant football coach for six seasons with the Broncs and also has served as head track coach at the high school.

Howell replaces former head football coach Bill Wiley, who stepped down last month after five seasons. Howell will continue to serve as head track coach.
