Two teams are No. 1 in the 406mtsports.com high school football rankings for the first time this season.

After sitting at No. 2 all season, Butte (7-0) is now on top of Class AA, switching places with defending state champion Billings West (6-0). The Bulldogs beat Kalispell Flathead 38-0 on Friday, while West escaped Great Falls with a 14-7 victory.

The 6-Man rankings also moved around after Jordan (6-1) beat previous No. 1 Wibaux (6-1) 47-41 on Saturday in a rematch of last year's state title game. Jordan moved up three spots to No. 2, while Wibaux fell to No. 3. Big Sandy (6-0), the only team to beat Jordan this season, is now No. 1.

The Class A rankings mostly stayed the same, with Frenchtown (6-1) returning to the rankings at No. 5 thanks to No. 2 Dillon’s 28-12 win over previously unbeaten and then-No. 5 Libby (6-1).

The only change in Class B was Jefferson (4-2) replacing Glasgow (4-2) at No. 10.

In 8-Man, Fort Benton (7-0) was rewarded for its 36-7 win over No. 9 Shelby (5-2) on Saturday. The Longhorns moved up one spot to No. 2, trading places with Alberton-Superior (7-0). Great Falls Central (6-1) also flip-flopped with previous No. 6 Thompson Falls (6-1).
