HAMILTON - Steve Weston has resigned as head football coach at Hamilton High School after 18 seasons.

Weston coached the Broncs from 1993 to 2010, posting a record of 111-69 and winning Class A state championships in 1997 and 1998.

Prior to Hamilton, Weston coached one year in Belgrade and 13 years in Darby. His overall won-lost record is 175-101.

He also coached Hamilton to a Class A state softball title in 2003.

Weston said he feels it is time for him to pursue other interests. He has been a basketball official for over 32 years and has officiated 26 state tournaments.

Weston will remain at Hamilton High as a PE teacher.
