BOZEMAN — Jordan Roe scored the game’s only goal and Billings Skyview kept its unbeaten streak alive with a 1-0 Eastern AA girls soccer win over Bozeman on Thursday.

The Falcons, who went 15-0-0 in winning the state championship last season, improved to 5-0-2 in the league and 6-0-2 overall. Their unbeaten streak stretched to 23 matches with the win.

The victory also moved them three points ahead of Bozeman (4-1-2) for the league lead.

In the first half, Halle Labert put a direct kick on goal that the Bozeman keeper got a hand on. Roe was there to clean up the rebound, and Skyview keeper Lainey Bosch helped the Falcons to their third shutout in their last four matches.

Skyview plays at Belgrade on Saturday while Bozeman plays host to Billings West next Thursday.
