BOZEMAN — Corvallis broke open the match with five second-half goals and went on to beat Laurel 8-2 in boys soccer on Saturday afternoon.

Cameron Ayers scored four goals and dished out a pair of assists to lead the Blue Devils, who led 3-1 at halftime.

Alex Linse scored both goals for Laurel, including one on a penalty kick in the 33rd minute.

Eli Carmona added a goal and three assists for Corvallis, which also received goals from Nolan Grenfell, D.J. Pekoc and Josh Benema.

Laurel plays next on Friday, at Libby.
