WHITEFISH — The defending State A champion Whitefish boys soccer team handled Billings Central 11-0 on Saturday to reach its third straight state title match.

Sam Menicke scored three goals, Gabe Menicke and Casey Schneider each scored two and Aaron Dicks, Joseph Huston, William Hyatt and Ian Lacey each added one. Schneider and Gabe Meinke dished out two assists apiece, while Dicks, Marvin Kimera, Darby McCarthy, Brandon Mendoza and Chase Sabin each had one.

The Bulldogs (14-0-0) will play at Laurel (12-2-0) on Saturday for the championship. Whitefish beat Laurel 6-0 on Sept. 13.

The Bulldogs lost to Belgrade 4-0 in the 2017 State A title match and beat Polson 6-2 last October.

The Rams finished their season with an 8-5-2 record.
