BILLINGS — Jessie Ellis socked a two-run homer in the first inning to jump-start the Billings Skyview offense in a 10-3 Eastern AA softball victory over Billings Senior on Monday at Skyview.

Raegan Harper then sparked the Falcons' offense by leading off the second inning with a triple as Skyview went on to score three times in the frame and led 5-0 after two.

Overall, Ellis finished with three RBIs and Harper two for the Falcons. Skyler Meagher scored twice for Skyview and had an RBI. Hannah Hoffarth and Meagher both added two-base hits for the Falcons.

With the win, Skyview improved to 5-0 in league and 8-1 overall. Senior fell to 0-1 and 3-2.

"It was a really good win," said Skyview coach Michael Falcon. "Senior is a solid team. It was good for us to come out and play well and get the W."

Kara Conway hit a solo homer for the Broncs.

Shea Earley was the winning pitcher for Skyview, tossing all seven innings and giving up four hits and three earned runs. She walked six and struck out five.
