The Billings Aquatic Club swim team finished third overall in the recent Montana State Short Course Championships held in Butte.
The BAC boys finished second in the team standings, while the BAC girls finished third. A total of 53 BAC swimmers competed, winning 38 individual titles.
The BAC girls were led by Jenna Marsh, who won the 50 butterfly, 200 butterfly, 50 freestyle and 200 freestyle in the 17-18 division.
Also winning state championships for the girls were K.K. Fiddler (11-12) in the 200 butterfly and 50 breaststroke; Madeline Sandstead (11-12) in the 50 butterfly; and Alyssa Boese (13-14) in the 500 freestyle.

The BAC boys were led by Ethan Harder and Jack Leuthold, who both swam in the 11-12 division.
Harder won the 50, 100 an 200 backstroke and the 200, 500 and 1,650 freestyle, and set the age-division state record in the 200 backstroke. Leuthold won the 50 and 100 freestyle, the 50, 100 and 200 butterfly, and the 200 and 400 IM.
Other champions for the BAC boys included Bradley Hand (9-10) in the 200 freestyle; Connor Funke (13-14) in the 200 freestyle and 200 breaststroke; Pierce Oja (15-16) in the 50 and 100 breaststroke; Chris Luterbach (17-18) in the 50 backstroke and 200 butterfly; and Matt Wehr (17-18) in the 100 backstroke, 100 butterfly and 500 freestyle.
Wehr, Oja, and Marsh will compete in the Speedo Senior Sectional Championships this week in Federal Way, Wash.
