BILLINGS — Billings Skyview’s 13th annual Pack the Place in Pink volleyball match will be held Tuesday at the Skyview gym. The varsity match against Billings West is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
Pack the Place in Pink began in 2007 as a way to raise money for breast cancer victims and also raise awareness about the disease. Since then, Pack the Place in Pink has spread to other schools, and the organization became a non-profit in 2013.
Skyview volleyball coach Vicki Carle, a breast cancer survivor herself, said that the Pack the Place in Pink non-profit has raised and distributed nearly $450,000 since 2007. Money is raised through T-shirt sales, raffles, bake sales and donations to help Montana breast cancer patients and their families. For information, visit packtheplaceinpink.org.
