Iowa standout sophomore Matt McDonough will again be the main counselor at the Osos Wrestling Camp Aug. 5-7 at Billings West.

McDonough was also at the previous year's Osos Camp.

McDonough, the 2010 NCAA 125-pound wrestling champion, finished second at the weight this year. In the finals he was topped 7-1 by No. 1 seed and undefeated Anthony Robles of Arizona State.

McDonough finished the season 27-2 and has a 64-3 two-year career mark for the Hawkeyes. He was a three-time Iowa state champion in high school.

The camp director is West coach Jeremy Hernandez. West assistants Joe Rambin, Jason Aguayo and Todd Rose round out the staff.

The cost is $100, or $130 for wrestlers needing host families. Commuting wrestlers need to bring a sleeping bag, pillow, toiletries and swimsuit. All wrestlers need to bring workout gear, wrestling shoes and running shoes.

The deadline to register in time to get a camp T-shirt is July 1.

For information, call Hernandez at 794-6584 or email him at hernandezj@billingsschools.org .
