CASPER, Wyo. - The Wyoming High School Activities Association board of directors is meeting this week in Casper.
WHSAA commissioner Ron Laird expects a discussion about nonseason practices to consume most of the board's time Tuesday and Wednesday.
Laird says the association found that schools were participating in practices that weren't against the rules but the WHSAA wasn't quite sure if they wanted such practices to continue.
He also tells the Casper Star-Tribune that it's likely the board will continue refining practice regulations into next year.
Most of the discussion on the topic has centered on non-team type of camps, such as youth and leadership camps.
The board will also look at public and negative criticism of officials by administrators and coaches on social media.
