The Montana State Billings men's basketball team concludes its five-game home stand tonight against Alaska Anchorage.
The Great Northwest Athletic Conference game will begin at 7 p.m. It will follow a 4 p.m. game between the Plenty Coups and Joliet boys basketball teams at Alterowitz Gymnasium.
The Yellowjackets (3-3, 8-9) are coming off an 81-51 win over Northwest Nazarene. Michael Hall continues to lead MSUB in scoring, averaging 18.6 points a game. Hall is averaging a league-best 23.5 points in GNAC games. His 56 3-pointers also lead the conference.
Derrick Wright is adding 15 points a game, while Travis Bunker is averaging 14.5 points and 8.6 rebounds. Wright is making 53 percent of his shots from the field.
Point guard Mario Burns ranks fifth nationally with 7.1 assists per game.
The Seawolves (3-2,9-9) are paced by Kenny Bunker, who is averaging 17.9 points a game. Brandon Walker is adding 13.4 points and seven rebounds a game for UAA. The Seawolves rank second nationally for free throw percentage (78 percent).
UAA has won the last four meetings between the two schools, including both games last season.
