EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. - Former Billings Outlaws player Travonti Johnson is one of seven players signed by the New York Giants from their practice squad on Thursday.

Johnson, the United Indoor Football league defensive rookie of the year last summer with the Outlaws, was signed to the Giants' practice roster on Dec. 2.

Along with Johnson, the Giants signed quarterback Andre Woodson, receivers Taye Biddle and Micah Rucker, offensive linemen Mike Fladell and Cliff Louis and tight end Martrez Milner.

The Giants signed two other free agents Thursday, running back Dwayne Wright and offensive lineman Orrin Thompson.
