GREAT FALLS - Beau Franzen will be looking to add a couple of championship saddles to his collection at the Montana Pro Rodeo Circuit Finals.

The event, which determines the 2008 year-end champions, features three performances at Four Seasons Arena. The year-end and finals winners qualify for the Dodge National Circuit Finals Rodeo this April.

Franzen, of Worden, leads both the all-around and steer wrestling standings. He competed at this second National Finals Rodeo last month in steer wrestling. Franzen is seeking his second all-around title in as many states. The former collegiate national champion won the Prairie Circuit all-around title in 2004.

Huntley's Ryan Siemsen leads the tie-down roping standings. Siemsen won the tie-down roping championship in 2006 and all-around titles in 2004 and 2005. He is also in contention for the 2008 all-around crown.

Barrel racer Lindsay Knaff of East Helena has already clinched a berth into the DNCFR. Entering this weekend, she holds a lead of $8,000 over Shelley Anzick of Livingston in the standings.

Other standings leaders are: John Collins, bareback; Jesse Kruse, saddle bronc; Matt Robertson, team roping header; Kory Mytty, team roping heeler; Dustin Jenkins, bull riding.

Mytty, of Lolo, has won five MPRC titles, including 2007 and 2005 while roping with Derick Fleming. He is roping with Sand Coulee's Brant Davis this weekend.
