DILLON — Montana Western overcame a 13-point first half deficit to rally past Rocky Mountain College 80-79 Saturday night in Frontier Conference men's basketball.

The Battlin' Bears (16-10, 7-7) return to the Fortin Center with home games against Providence (Thursday) and Montana State-Northern (Saturday).

Jared Samuelson led Rocky with a game-high 21 points, while Clayton Ladine added 14 and Satchel McDonald 11.

The Battlin' Bears were 0 for 11 in the second half from 3-point range.

Cedric Boone paced the Bulldogs (8-17, 2-12) with 19 points, while Kooper Kidgell had 17, including seven from the free throw line.
