HELENA -- Parker Olson scored two goals as the Helena Bighorns eliminated the Billings Bulls from the first round of the American West Hockey League playoffs Friday.

Helena, the defending league champions, won 5-2 to sweep the playoff series 3-0.

Olson scored in the first and second periods for Helena (49-1-1-0). His second goal was part of a three-goal outburst in the second period for the Bighorns.

Goal keeper Alek Lazarski had 20 saves for Helena.

Cody Phillips had a goal and an assist for the Bulls, while Patrick Anurak had the other goal. Billings goal keeper Isaac Tjaden had 39 stops.

Billings finishes 23-24-3-1.

Helena outshot the Bulls 44-22.
