LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Billings-owned Golden Ticket placed fifth on Saturday night in the $552,000 Stephen Foster Handicap at Churchill Downs.

Moonshine Mullin, ridden by Calvin Borel, won the nine-horse, 1 1/8-mile-race and earned an automatic berth into the $5 million Breeders' Cup Classic, which will be held Nov. 1 at Santa Anita Park in California. 

Golden Ticket, a 5-year-old owned by Carter Stewart and Ken Schlenker of Magic City Thoroughbred Partners, was running third entering the homestretch before falling back.

The fifth-place finish was worth $15,912. Moonshine Mullin, which went off at 10-1 odds, earned $328,848.

Golden Ticket was ridden by Julien Leparoux and trained by Ken McPeek.

Moonshine Mullin paid $22.00, $9.00 and $5.20.

Will Take Charge was second and Departing finished third.
