CINCINNATI — Jim Paduch, who threw a no-hitter for the Billings Mustangs to clinch the Pioneer League championship earlier this month, tossed Sunday's ceremonial first pitch at Cincinnati's Great American Ball Park as the Reds closed out their 2003 season.

Paduch, the Reds' 12th-round selection in this year's draft, also was presented with a plaque commemorating his no-hitter.

Paduch and the Mustangs defeated the Provo Angels 3-0 on Sept. 12 to clinch the franchise's second league championship in the past three years.
