MISSOULA — A pair of first-place showings highlighted Rocky Mountain College's performance Saturday at the Montana Open.

Finishing 24 seconds ahead of the next runner, Jackson Duffey won the men's 5,000 meters with a time of 15:17.22. Ruth Chepsat notched Rocky's other first-place finish with a time of 4:53.86 in the women's 1,500 meters.

Finishing second in the women's 1,600-meter relay, Rocky's Bailey Bard, Carrie Cota, Jatinas Sattoriva and Corinne Hamilton established a new school record time of 4:14.64.

They had previously broken the school record with a time of 4:18.06 during a recent meet in Spokane, Washington.
