Rocky Mountain College Battlin' Bears Volleyball

HELENA — The Rocky Mountain College volleyball team ran its winnings streak to 12 in a row with a four-set win over Carroll College on Saturday afternoon.

The No. 6-ranked Battlin' Bears (13-1, 2-0) won 25-22, 22-25, 25-19, 25-16.

Hailey Copinga and Maranda Gallagher each had 11 kills for Rocky. Copinga, a senior from Billings, now had 908 career kills. Naomi Bad Bear and Daniella Russell added nine kills apiece. Russell, of Red Lodge, now has 503 career kills. Gallagher also had three of Rocky's five aces.

Natalie Hilderman had a double-double of 38 assists and 14 digs, while Ruby Kallenbach had a team-best 16 digs.

Lexi Mikkelsen had a match-high 15 kills for Carroll.

Rocky hosts Montana State Billings on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Fortin Center.
