DICKINSON, N.D. - Three players scored in double figures to carry Rocky Mountain College past Dickinson State 64-53 Saturday in women's basketball.
Rocky's win snapped a six-game winning streak for Dickinson. The Bears (5-6) have won four of their last five games.
"We are really starting to play good defense," said Rocky coach Brian Henderson. "Offensively, the girls are starting to gel. We have so many new faces it's taken us awhile to get used to each other."
Dani Henderson paced the Lady Bears with 13 points and seven rebounds, while Tana Stewart added 12 points. Liz Lewis added 11. Lewis and Stewart each had three 3-pointers. Lewis also dished out a game-high six assists.
Kia Herbel led the Blue Hawks with 14 points, while Staci Moore added 12.
Rocky will visit Minot State Monday at 6 p.m.
