ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Jess Lockwood returned to Professional Bull Riders elite series competition in a big way Friday night, riding the bull Legit for 89.5 points to share first place in the first round of the Ty Murray Invitational.
The 21-year-old Lockwood had missed nine top-tier events because of a broken collarbone. He had ridden earlier at a lower-tier event in Texas.
