Mike Martinez of the Tuesday Night Terror league bowled a sanctioned 300 game for the 32nd time in his career Thursday night at Sunset Bowl. Martinez, who entered the night with a 199 average, bowled a 177 and a 226 on Thursday before recording his perfect game. He finished with a 703 series.

The Billings Bulls High School hockey team took to the road and posted 3 wins and a tie last weekend in Montana high school hockey action. The Bulls shut out the Bozeman Ice Dogs 3-0 on Friday night with Duke Cherpeski, Patrick Crooks and Paul Tevlin each scoring unassisted goals. Goaltender Cole Curry stopped all 24 shots on goal. The Bulls then traveled to Salmon, Idaho, for two games against the Salmon Rapids. The Bulls won both games, 10-1 and 10-0, respectively. The Bulls returned home Sunday for a return match in Bozeman against the Ice Dogs. The Bulls and the Ice Dogs played to a 3-3 tie in a close-checking game. The Bulls erased a 2-1 Bozeman lead in the third period with goals from Dayton Smith and Ian Forsyth to take a 3-2 lead. The Ice Dogs, however, responded with a tying goal that closed out the scoring for the game. Cherpeski notched the Bulls first goal and Curry stopped 22 of 25 shots. The Bulls play at 8 p.m. Saturday night at Centennial Arena vs the Richland County (Sidney) Rangers.
