Aaron Liddell and Woody Springfield will be the feature bout at 155 pounds at Magic City Boxing's Thursday Night Fights at the Babcock Theatre at 7:30 p.m.
Matchmaker Jason Partridge said he has also been trying to find a fight for Joe "J-Roc" Broken Rope, whom he would like to be in the main event.
Partridge said anybody wanting to fight Broken Rope, the state Club Boxing light heavyweight runner-up the past two seasons, is welcome to attend weigh-ins Wednesday at the Railyard at 6:30 p.m. Partridge did say Broken Rope has issued a challenge to three-time Club Boxing heavyweight year-end champion Jason Wilcox.
New and old fighters wanting to fight should be at weigh-ins. Men and women ages 18-39 are eligible and will be matched by weight and experience. Fighters earn $125 to win and $50 to lose.
