SEATTLE - Jarred Weisen scored a hat trick to propel the Montana State Billings soccer team past Seattle Pacific 4-2 Thursday night.

The victory ensures the Yellowjackets (10-7, 3-4) of a second straight winning season. The victory also ended a three-game losing streak for MSUB.

Tyler Moriarty scored MSUB's first goal, off an assist from Sam Charles. It was Moriarty's first goal of the season.

Weisen, a junior from Great Falls, added a score late in the first half and two more in the second half. Charles added his second assist on Weisen's final goal.

Thursday was Weisen's second career hat trick. He has seven goals this season.

MSUB was missing four starters, forcing the starting 11 to play all 90 minutes. Goal keeper Matt Mitchell had four saves for the Yellowjackets.

MSUB closes out the regular season with a match at Saint Martin's on Saturday.
