DILLON — Two Montana high school athletes have signed letters of intent to play volleyball at Montana-Western, coach Katie Howells announced.
Ashlee Johnson, a middle blocker and outside hitter from Dutton, and Aliece Brianne Wichman, an outside hitter from Belt, will join the Bulldogs in the fall.
Johnson recorded 143 kills and 93 blocks as a senior, earning all-state honors. Johnson is also an all-conference basketball player and won the javelin title at this year's state Class C track and field championships.
Wichman recorded 311 kills, 180 digs, 75 ace serves, 135 blocks and 247 assists, earning all-state honors. She is also an all-state performer in cross country.
