LARAMIE, Wyo. — Wyoming stole the ball 18 times and forced 29 turnovers in a season-opening 80-33 women's basketball victory over Chadron State on Wednesday.

Tereza Vitulova led four players in double figures for the Cowgirls with 14 points. Alba Sanchez Ramos added 12 and Marta Gomez and Bailee Cotton each had 11.

The Cowgirls bench outscored Chadron State's 43-11. With the win, the Cowgirls moved to 13-3 under coach Joe Legerski in season openers.
