Windy and hot conditions dominate the forecast for Southcentral Montana today.
High in Billings could reach 90 degrees under mostly cloudy skies. West winds at 5 to 10 mph early will start howling at 15 to 30 mph later this morning. There is a 20 percent chance of showers or thundershowers this morning.
Tonight, skies remain mostly cloudy with an overnight low of 54 degrees. Winds will be from the west at 10 to 20 mph this evening, becoming east after midnight.
Friday will be cooler with a high in Billings of about 80 degrees. Skies will be mostly cloudy and winds will be from the east at 10 to 20 mph. No precipitation is expected.

Rivers and streams continue to rise as hot temperatures melt mountain snows. A flood warning remains in effect in Park County, and a flood watch has been posted for Carbon County. For Sweet Grass County, the National Weather Service has issued a small-stream advisory.
