Montana and Wyoming forecast

Billings Area: Today will be the last of the warm and windy weather for awhile as the jet stream drops to the south of the state. Chilly temperatures and occasional light snow is expected this weekend.

Montana: Warm and dry weather will continue today. It will be windy in sections of eastern Montana. It will turn colder this weekend with occasional rain and snow showers in the west with light snow in the east. More winter storms are expected for next week.

Wyoming: Today will be the last of the warm and dry weather for quite some time. The jet stream will drop to the south of the state this weekend. Colder temperatures and occasional snow will be the result by late Saturday. Winter conditions are expected to remain with us through much of next week.

Yellowstone: Brisk and mild conditions will continue today. Afternoon temperatures will be in the 40s. It will turn cloudy and colder this weekend and early next week. Snow will be expected with light to moderate accumulations each day.

Bighorn Canyon: Gusty winds may give boaters problems but temperatures will be warm. It will turn colder this weekend. Winds will settle down but light snow will be forming. Chilly conditions will continue into next week.
