Billings Area: Gusty winds and mild to warm temperatures are expected through Friday. We could come close to a record high on Friday. A cold front will create colder temperatures and occasional light snow over the weekend and into early next week.
Montana: Mild to warm temperatures will continue for two more days. Some record high temperatures may be set on Friday. It will turn colder this weekend with all areas seeing a chance for light snow. Chilly weather will continue into next week.
Wyoming: Periods of high clouds and mild temperatures are expected today. A few morning snow showers are possible in the southeastern corner of the state. Winds will be a problem for travelers today and Friday in the east. Warm temperatures are expected statewide on Friday. Wintery weather will settle into the state this weekend.
Yellowstone: Brisk and mild conditions will continue through Friday. Snow and falling temperatures will develop for the weekend. Winds will subside. Chilly temperatures and occasional snow showers will continue into next week.
Bighorn Canyon: Boaters will want to be prepared for gusty winds at times today and Friday. Temperatures will be very pleasant. Light snow and colder temperatures are expected this weekend.
