The hottest month

The hottest month

For years, we have been told that the hottest time of the summer is during MontanaFair. There is some truth to this, especially if you have walked along the Midway blacktop during the fair. MontanaFair usually starts around Aug 10. To no surprise, the 30-year average high temperature for that day is 87 degrees. However, the next day, on Aug. 11, the average drops to 86 degrees. The 30-year average high temperature for the entire month is 84.5 degrees; July's average high is 85.8 degrees.
