Billings & surrounding areas
Billings Area: Temperatures will remain a little warmer than normal for today but we can expect a cool down on Sunday. This weekend will also be filled with mostly cloudy to cloudy skies and scattered rain and snow showers. Most showers will be light and daytime temperatures will not be cold enough for snow.
Montana: Moisture will continue to stream into the state for this weekend and we will also have a weak cold front dipping into central and eastern areas on Sunday. There will be scattered showers across most of the state for today and tomorrow with the best chance of measurable precipitation in the far west and north.
Wyoming: Pleasant temperatures should continue to abound across the state for today and we will have a chance of scattered rain and snow showers. Tomorrow will be several degrees cooler and the chance of Spring showers will be more likely. Plan on the possibility of strong winds through most of central and southern Wyoming today with a brisk northerly breeze at many areas on Sunday. Temperatures should again turn milder on Monday and Tuesday.
Yellowstone: Scattered showers return for the next few days with a mixture of rain and snow at lower elevations. Small accumulations of a wet, heavy snow is expected in the High Country but most snowfall will melt as if falls for valley locations.
Bighorn Canyon: Mild, breezy to windy and isolated showers for today. Scattered showers are possible overnight tonight and on Sunday. Tomorrow will likely be about ten degrees colder with highs in the lower to middle 50s.
