Billings and surrounding areas
Billings Area: An upper level ridge parked across the region will result in sunny, warm, windy and dry conditions this weekend. A cool weather disturbance moving through Sunday night will bring Monday's highs down closer to normal with little in the way of moisture expected.
Montana: Warm, windy and mostly dry statewide Saturday. Turning cooler with chance showers popping up over the mountains and west on Sunday. Still mild and dry eastward. Cooler out east come Monday as western temperatures warm. Mostly dry all areas.
Wyoming: Great October weather is expected over the next several days as ridge of high pressure sends the jet stream into Canada. Temperatures will be quite warm. Warm enough in fact to possibly break record highs this weekend. Travelers will need to be prepared for brisk afternoon winds at times but no precipitation is expected.
Yellowstone: Partly cloudy to sunny skies and dry weather will prevail this weekend. Mild temperatures are expected both days. Monday will be breezy and cooler, but still mostly dry.
Bighorn Canyon: The weekend outlook calls for plenty of sunshine and unseasonably warm temperatures. Precipitation is not a concern, but in may be breezy to windy at times.
