25 years later: In December 1992, a plane crashed into a Billings school warehouse, killing 8 people

On the night of Dec. 18, 1992, a jet carrying eight people crashed into a Billings School District 2 warehouse northeast of downtown Billings. All aboard were killed, including five employees of the federal Western Area Power Administration's Billings office. The plane was coming from Watertown, South Dakota, and was caught in the turbulence caused by a Boeing 757 that it was following too closely.
