Real Estate has been fascinating to me since my late teens; that’s when I realized how important it was to keep a family together and stable. My Mother managed to acquire 8 rentals long after my father passed, and this was the income that she used to raise 7 children and keep them under one roof. In learning that lesson, I bought my first home at 21, and became a Realtor by the age of 23. Oftentimes, life is about circles and hoops, and I’ve learned to balance them well. I’ve come full circle in acquiring my Realtor status again, and helping others’ to live the dream of homeownership. Hoops are the virtual and figurative obstacles that we all jump through in life. I have a knack for balancing the figurative hoops for my clients; but I have a passion for the literal hoops. I just love to Hula Hoop, and I have won a few ribbons in my time.

In March of 2016, I will graduate from the Graduate Realty Institute: also known as GRI. The GRI designation that I will receive this Spring, means that I have elected to take extra real estate classes and learn more about legal & regulatory issues, technology, professional standards, and the sales process.

I have already earned the designation of Certified Senior Real Estate Specialist. SRES means that I’ve taken extra steps to learn about the needs & lifestyles of the 50+ demographic market. It was an awesome class because my husband and I are also 50+; I discovered that our personal preferences & lifestyle are “ thankfully” very typical for our demographic.

I have presented at the First Time Homebuyer Classes. They are extremely educational and worthwhile for First Time Home Buyers. This class is educational, even if you’re not a first time buyer; it’s time worth spending. I thoroughly enjoy guiding first time homebuyers through the homebuying process. The profound feeling that I get when a family moves into their first home is simply Magical.
