BILLINGS, Mont. — Head coach Wes Keller has officially announced the 2026-27 schedule for Rocky women's basketball.
Coming off their fourth 20-win season in the past five years and securing their eighth trip to the NAIA National Tournament since the 2016-17 campaign, the Battlin' Bears look to carry their momentum into the upcoming year.
Rocky's nonconference slate features six matchups against Cascade Collegiate Conference foes, highlighted by three regional tournaments, alongside a pair of Rimrock Rivalry exhibition games against Rimrock Rivals, Montana State University Billings.
The regular season officially tips off in Spokane, Washington, at the Cascade-Frontier Crossover on October 24 and 25. Rocky opens against Lewis-Clark State College, an NAIA National Tournament Round of 16 finisher that totaled a record of 25-9 last season. The Battlin' Bears follow that opener with a rematch against Southern Oregon, a squad Rocky defeated 83-64 in the first round of last year's NAIA Championship Tournament.

The Battlin' Bears' home opener will be a Rimrock Rivalry exhibition against MSU Billings on October 27. The two squads will meet again on November 23 at Alterowitz Gym.
Rocky continues nonconference action in Eugene, Oregon, at the Beacon Classic, hosted by Bushnell University. The Battlin' Bears take on host Bushnell on November 13, a rematch of last season's 76-67 Rocky victory in Billings, before battling defending Cascade Collegiate Conference Tournament champion Corban University (26-6) on November 14.
Frontier Conference play tips off November 21 in Helena against Carroll College, launching a rigorous 22-game conference schedule featuring a full home-and-away series against every Frontier opponent.
Rocky wraps up nonconference play a week later back in Helena at the Thanksgiving Classic, facing the College of Idaho and Northwest University on November 28 and 29. The College of Idaho Yotes enter following a 22-9 season that included an NAIA second-round appearance, while Northwest University looks to build off a 10-19 campaign.
Postseason play begins February 26 with the Frontier Conference Tournament returning to Butte, Montana. Rocky will host its annual alumni game in the Fortin Education Center on Friday, October 9.
